Larry Hayworth was born in 1967 in the Missouri Ozarks. Being surrounded by nature prompted his interest in drawing and painting at an early age. Inspired by his uncle Wildlife Artist Lee LeBlanc, Larry attended art school at The American Academy of Art in Chicago. Upon graduating in 1988, Larry painted out of his Uncle Lee’s studio before returning to Missouri.
Larry has entered numerous art shows and conservation stamp contests, receiving honorable mention in the Missouri Trout stamp competition. In 2008 Larry was accepted into the American Plains Artist and in 2008 was accepted into the Oil Painters of America. Larry works mostly in oils with wildlife as his primary subject matter.
