Jan Sasser
Initially embarking on a career in social work, Jan was often haunted by her desire to pursue art. She completed a core curriculum equivalent to an Art Major at Jacksonville State University in AL in 1983 and then taught art in the Psychology department's summer youth program. In 2003 she began painting full time and since then has taken many ribbons in Charleston area shows and was recently accepted for membership in Oil Painters of America.
